05/29/09 - AnaJet Releases New Direct-to-Garment Printer Model
AnaJet Inc. announced a new Direct-to-Garment printer model, the SPRINT™ Digital Apparel Printer. The SPRINT™ incorporates a new print head, print engine, Auto Print Head Maintenance and AnaJet’s highly acclaimed Closed Loop Ink Delivery System for garment printing. The SPRINT automates most of the printer maintenance, and does not require regular print head cleaning as in the earlier models. It results in a faster and easier system with one-third higher production capability. The SPRINT™ can print on light and dark garments of cotton, polyester, nylon, rayon and spandex.

Accompanying the AnaJet SPRINT™ printer is revamped software specifically developed for the SPRINT™. The new printing programs allow more accurate and vibrant colors, at higher resolutions for photographic prints. Typical print speed is less than one minute for light shirts, and two-and-a-half to three minutes for dark garments.

According to Dr. Chase Roh, the company’s president and co-author of the recently published industry reference book, The T-shirt Revolution: Building Your Business Using a Digital Apparel Printer, the SPRINT™ Printer represents the next step in direct-to-garment printing, with significantly reduced maintenance requirements. He said what the industry needs today is a trouble free printer with good print speed so that production houses can use them for day in day out printing operations.
